2021 Season


MVP: Robert Brown QB Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Der 32 jährige war der überragende Mann eines Teams, dass die Saison 2021 am Ende ohne Niederlage beenden sollte. Mit fast 5000 Yards und 47 Touchdowns trug der Veteran einen gehörigen Teil zu diesem Erfolg bei.


Offensive Rookie of the Year: Terrell Davis RB Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Denkbar knapp aber dennoch absolut verdient, krönt Davis seine Rookie Saison nicht nur meinem einem Ring, sondern auch noch diesem Award. Mit über 1100 Rushingyards und 7 TDs war Davis die Garantie für das gute Laufspiel der Buccs. Das ganze in Kombination mit weiteren 322 Yards durch die Luft reichten am Ende knapp mit einer Stimme Vorsprung.


Defensive Rookie of the Year Randal Powell Pittsburgh Steelers

Mit 8 Sacks und 7 Hurries trug Powell bereits als Rookie gehörig dazu bei, das Powerhouse der Steelers weiter am Leben zu halten. Einzig im Super Bowl gegen die Buccs mussten sich Powell und die Steelers in einer sonst bockstarken Saison geschlagen geben.


2022 Season

MVP: Robert Brown QB Tampa Bay Buccaneers & Dominic Mahoney QB Dallas Cowboys

Im Vergleich zum Vorjahr hatten wir 2022 eine denkbare knappe Entscheidung bei der Wahl zum MVP, bei der es am Ende sogar zwei MVPs gab. 5 Stimmen konnten die beiden jeweils für sich gewinnen und ließen damit Michael Quintanar auf dem 3. Platz zurück, der immerhin 4 mal gewählt wurde.

Offensive Rookie of the Year: Nathan Cole RB Denver Broncos

So spannend es beim MVP zu ging, so eindeutig war dieses Jahr die Wahl zum ORoy. Fast 1500 Rushing + Receiving Yards standen am Ende auf der Habenseite, das ganze garniert mit 7 TDs. Tolle Saison für den Mann aus Colorado.

Defensive Rookie of the Year: Otto Waalkes WLB Cleveland Browns

Auch hier war dieses Jahr wenig Spannung in der Wahl. Mit 8 Stimmen konnte Otto Waalkes die erste Trophäe seiner Karriere recht eindeutig für sich gewinnen. Knapp 80 Tackle und eine Saison die nicht viele Schwachstellen offenbarte sind definitiv ein verheißungsvoller Start in seine NFL Karriere.


2023 Season

MVP: Brian Griese, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The 2nd year pro out of Louisiana Tech pulverised our League record of 47 TDs by 23, taking the record from his teammate and mentor Robert Brown, who held the record since the 2021 Season.
In 2022 Brown also set the record for most passing yards in a season with 4882, which as you might have guessed, was also broken by a lot. 6603 yards for Griese in a season, like we have never seen before here in the German NFL.


Offensive Rookie of the Year: Thomas Bostick, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars

Bostick got drafted at #27 out of Oklahoma State. The speedy Wideout wins the first award for his Jacksonville Jaguars, but probably not the last with the season the Jaguars had.
Bosticks 800 Yards and even more so 10 TDs where a big part of the success story out of Jacksonville. Bostick even added a great first Post Season game of his career, where he posted a impressive 120 yards, 2 Touchdowns game vs. the Cincinnati Bengals.


Defensive Rookie of the Year: Keith Mueller, LB, Dallas Cowboys

Great, well rounded season, for the LB that was drafted at 23. Promising future ahead, and beeing with the Dallas Cowboys basically gurantees many more postseason chances for the young man.
