Elite Bowl 11 just played out and nine teams are up for grabs in the Elite League for the 2028 season. Grab one today – you’ll get a free team/roster analysis by GrandadB and the joy of reading yours truly doing game write ups to glorify your gridiron grandeur all throughout the season! All ranges of teams from the extreme fixer-upper to the ready-to-win-now mansions are available...

Reno Marauders (3-12-1)
https://theefl.myfootballnow.com/team/3

This team has been on AI for the past 5 seasons, but isn’t as huge a wreck as that might seem. A new owner will have the services of a first-round QB selection in this season’s draft whose numbers will make him completely usable in the upcoming 2028 season. The team is carrying $25.8M in dead cap for the year, but a new owner would be able to turn the roster around without too much headache. Plus, you’ll get to play two games against…

Aspen Wampas (0-15-1)
https://theefl.myfootballnow.com/team/1

On its fourth season of AI ownership in 2027, this is a project for someone who loves rebuilds as the team has won 1 or fewer games in three of those four seasons. It is carrying 19.6M in dead cap for 2028. Aspen is ready for a winner, so claim this team and come grab your Rocky Mountain high!

Boise Burn (7-9)
https://theefl.myfootballnow.com/team/15

Boise was human-coached this past season and has 25 wins over the past three seasons in the league, so it is just a gentle nudge away from that next step. There is 26.6M in dead cap for next season and a roster that shows a human’s loving care and touch in all the right areas. Good for someone wanting to come in and hit the ground running.

Santa Fe Bandits (2-14)
https://theefl.myfootballnow.com/team/17

On Year 4 of the AI slide to shame, the Bandits have never made the EFL playoffs – how often in life do you have the opportunity to be the first person to accomplish something? That should be motivation enough to adopt this program. Of course, with every achievement there is challenge and this one is the 51.2M in dead cap the franchise carries into next season.

Brooklyn Bombers (2-14)
https://theefl.myfootballnow.com/team/18

Brooklyn fans are starting to get grouchy after four seasons on the AI bus and, like divisional foe Santa Fe above, never making the EFL playoffs. There’s only 21.6M in dead cap here and the best **** reuben sandwiches in the league when you get to the stadium.

Tacoma Thunder (1-14-1)
https://theefl.myfootballnow.com/team/24

Only 2 seasons removed from a human owner, so despite the record the AI damage hasn’t been fully incorporated into this program yet. A new human would be stepping into a delicious draft position and a team that has a decent foundation hiding within in. As a bonus, there’s just 18.6M in the dead cap pool from Simmy’s management this past season.

Fort Drum Hefty Buffalo (5-11)
https://theefl.myfootballnow.com/team/26

Not gonna lie…this is another one of those positions for people who really like projects as the Hefty Buffalo were driven over the fiscal cliff this season and carry nearly 70M in dead cap into next season. But, hey, if it was easy everyone would be doing it, right? A position probably best for a retired member of Congress or someone with Wall Street level ledger skillz.

Charleston Geechee (14-2)
https://theefl.myfootballnow.com/team/29

This is the crown jewel of our up-for-grabs positions in the league. A Conference finalist who was 5 points away from playing in Elite Bowl 11 after being EFL runner-up the season before. This program is completely move-in ready and carries just 8.1M in dead cap forward. GRAB THIS TEAM!

San Diego Riptide (7-9)
https://theefl.myfootballnow.com/team/31

Another solid program that is fairly straight-out-of-the-box friendly with just 14.4M in dead cap for 2028. You’ll get to spend your days in sunny southern California staring out at the ocean as you plan out your strategy to squeeze just a few more wins out of this unit to get them over the top and into the postseason.
