Newer Die-Hard Fans League Features:
-League Hall of Fame
-Polls for Pro-Bowl Teams and League Awards
-Preseason Previews and Data

Plenty of active owners, but we've lost a couple key members over the past two seasons. We'd love to have some new active members! I absolutely love this league and have kept my team going over other ones because of my love of Gus' league.

Die-Hard Fans League:
Die-Hard Fans is an owner-run league led by the great Gustoon and going into its 8th season (2007). Features:

Hall of Fame

All-Pro and Pro-Bowl Teams with a new poll feature starting this season

Variety of active owners

Great banter

We've lost several owners over the past couple of years, causing the league's activity level to drop some. We could really use some new owners, and I'd loved the support from some of our friends here in the UFA. UFA owners currently in Die-Hard Fans includes:
raidergreg69 - Oakland Raiders and Xenia Tornado
amalric7 - Los Angeles Chargers and Kalispell Mammoth
raymattison21 - Atlanta Falcons (ugh, they kill me every time) and Norwich Dappers
And, of course, Authorccurrier - THE Los Angeles Rams (RIP Greatest Show on Turf) and Paducah Swarm

Available teams include the Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens, and Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC. In the NFC, the Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys, and Minnesota Vikings are all available. We would prefer if you were a fan of the team that you picked, but in case you aren't...

Let me talk you into becoming a fan!

First off, you have the New England Patriots. Now, as a Rams fan, I don't like the Pats, BUT I do respect what they have accomplished with this dynasty. They just got ring number 6 with Belichick/Brady. I don't need to talk you into them any more.

Ironically, the Patriots and Chiefs have been two of the best teams in the Die-Hard Fans league historically and both teams have been dominant in the NFL the past two seasons. The Chiefs have a great coach, the reigning league MVP, an explosive offense, AND recent additions on defense with Tyrann Mathieu and Bashaud Breeland. They HAVE lost Dee Ford and Justin Houston. Now the Rams have to play against Ford twice a year.

As for the Ravens, you have one of the league's deepest tight end rooms, a dominant defense, an electric dual-threat playmaker in Lamar Jackson, and the addition of future Hall of Famer Earl Thomas to their secondary as an upgrade over Eric Weddle, who is also awesome (and a Ram).

Now, with the Jaguars, you have an awful lot of hype for a team that wasn't that good this past season. That's because the defense was still 4th in the league after a slower start to the season, and the offense picked up with the lame Cody Kessler upgrading over Blake Bortles (who is also now a Ram). However, fans shouldn't worry, because the offense got a huge upgrade with Super Bowl MVP (and former Ram) Nick Foles as the new quarterback. The Jaguars feature a stud guard in Andrew Norwell and great young tackle in Cam Robinson along the offensive line. They have an intriguing receiving room with talents who can score on any touch like DeDe Westbrook, Keelan Cole, Marqise Lee, and DJ Chark. On defense, they boast a stellar group up front with Calais Campbell, Yannick Ngakoue, Marcell Dareus, and Taven Bryan in the front four. At linebacker, they have a pair of studs in Telvin Smith and Myles Jack. Finally, they boast arguably the best cornerback tandem in football with Jalen Ramsey and AJ Bouye manning the perimeter. This team could make a serious run with their running game, defense, weapons, and a new triggerman - and that's before finding out who they pick with a top-10 draft pick!

Now, in the NFC (or the great conference of the Rams), there are three teams available. The Washington Redskins are in a bit of a purgatory with ex-Rams QB Case Keenum and Colt McCoy as the QB options for this year and the injured Alex Smith counting for quite a bit of cap space. They have a very nice Alabama defense, though. Linebackers Rueben Foster, Shaun Dion Hamilton, and Ryan Anderson, Safety Landon Collins, and Defensive Tackles Johnathan Allen and DaRon Payne. They may be drafting a QB in the first round this year. If not, they'll be well-positioned for the future. In general, though, the Redskins roster isn't the most attractive. They have a nice defense and a good running back room featuring Adrian Peterson, Chris Thompson, Derrius Guice, Samaje Perine, and Fat Rob.

The Cowboys have an improving roster with Ezekiel Elliot - who might be the league's second-best running back behind Todd Gurley - Dak Prescott, and Amari Cooper providing a very strong young trio to lead the offense - a team that already features Tyron Smith and Zack Martin on the offensive line. They added Randall Cobb to the pair with Michael Gallup, Allen Hurns, and Cooper in the receiving room, and Jason Witten returned from retirement. On defense, they have DeMarcus Lawrence, Robert Quinn ( a former Ram), Kerry Hyder, Christian Covington, Taco Charlton, and Maliek Collins on the line, with Jaylon Smith, Sean Lee, and Leighton Vander Esch rounding out the front seven. In the secondary, the Boys feature Byron Jones, Chidobe Awuzie, Jourdan Lewis, and Xavier Woods. This is one of the most stacked rosters in the league.

In Minnesota, you have the Kirk Cousins Experience with some very strong weapons in Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen, Dalvin Cook, and Kyle Rudolph. The defense should be fantastic, but surprisingly let the team down as the season wore on. Expect that to be fixed by Coach Zimmer in 2019. With some improved blocking, Cousins has the goods to take this team deep into the playoffs. They're worth rooting for, but temper your expectations - not everyone can be the Rams.
