http://np.ironhelmet.com/It's a slow-form 4x real time strategy game set in space. I just found it this morning and haven't played it yet, but thought it might be fun to play with some other MFNers. Basic premise is you invest in infrastructure and research while conquering the galaxy, forging alliances, trading technology, and backstabbing your former friends. Once every day you generate more money, but ships all move in real time, with several to many hours of travel time between star systems, so you basically only need to log in once or twice a day to manage your fledgling empire. Games start as soon as all empty slots are filled. Right now I'm in the new-player-only match (now filled) as well as the massive 64 player match. My handle there is Laki Red if you want to seek me out for some interstellar justice (or alliance!).
